Youth Work Ireland Galway is a voluntary and not for profit organisation that works with young people in Galway City and County. Their service is open to all young people aged between 10 – 21 years and most activities are free or low cost.
Some activities and services you can find in Youth Work Ireland Galway right now are art for all levels, on Tuesdays from 16.30 - 18.00, and wellbeing (which will cover sport, nutrition etc. ) on Wednesdays 18.30 – 20.00. Starting Thursdays from January 28, there will be Photo Journaling. All of these groups are for 14 – 18 years, and are held in their office in Prospect Hill, Galway.
shOUT! is a group that meets weekly, working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or questioning young people aged 14 - 17 years in the Galway region.
Comhairle na nÓg Youth Committee for the City and County is a youth council for the voice of young people and there are committees all over Galway. (Age 12 – 18 years )
Youth Work Ireland Galway offers a Youth Counselling Service for 12 – 21 years.
