AND THEY Flew IV, the annual exhibition by students of Galway artist Denise Hogan, opens in the Renzo Café, Eyre Street, this Saturday at 7.30pm and runs until January 10.
On display will be works in oils, watercolours, and acrylics, and works will be for sale. Denise runs weekly classes in Roscam, near Galway Clinic, as well as one day workshops in glass painting, oils, mixed media, and watercolours.
"Learning to paint is a wonderful journey, and all classes are taught on the basis of the experience of the individual student," says Denise. "Everyone works at their own pace on their chosen subject matter, thereby developing their own unique style and taste."
