ALTERNATIVE-FOLK band Orchid Collective return to Monroe’s Live to perform a free gig at The Backstage Bar on Thursday December 17 at midnight.
Their gypsy-folk sound and strong vocal harmonies have won them a reputation as an excellent live band and their most recent single, ‘Figure It Out’, is a fine representation of their sound. The quartet formed after meeting in college and after a few months they began gigging relentlessly around Dublin. They have since performed at Glasgowbury, Knockanstockan, Rhythm and Roots, Foyle Folk Festival, and the Ones to Watch Festival at Whelan’s Live.
