THE NUTCRACKER, the magical story of toys that come to life and their battle against evil mice, set to some of Tchaikovsky’s most memorable music, comes to Galway for a special performance.
The WhistleBlast Quartet - Ken Edge (saxophones and clarinets ), Conor Linehan (piano ), Mary Curran (French horn ), Síle Daly (oboe and cor anglais ) - narrate and perform The Nutcracker at a family show in the Town Hall Theatre studio on Wednesday December 17 at 7pm. Arranged by Ken Edge, the show will also include 'Gabriel’s Oboe', Leroy Anderson's 'Sleigh Ride', 'White Christmas', and popular carols.
