College Awareness Week takes place from November 23 to 29. The aim of the week is to make people aware of the different courses available in colleges and the opportunities open to them.
Poise Salon at Galway Technical Institute will host a 'Be Gorgeous' pamper event during College Awareness Week, with all proceeds from the fundraiser going to Jigsaw.
On Tuesday November 24 from 2pm to 4.30pm relaxing reflexology and massage treatments are available in room 11 at the college for only €12 to €15, depending on the particular treatment, while at GTI Concept Hair Salon blow dries are also being offered in return for a donation.
On Thursday November 26 from 9.30am to 12.30pm soothing beautifying facials are on offer at a very reasonable €12 to €15, again depending on the treatment. This is a great chance to get your glow on and for a great cause. Or why not book your weekend blow dry at Concept Hair Salon?
