DUTCH DEEP House masters Detroit Swindle, responsible for dance floor staples like ‘The Wrap Around’, ‘The Break Up' and 'Figure of Speech', play Electric on Thursday November 26 at 11pm.
The duo - Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets - who play as part of the Abbeygate Street venue's Wildlife night, have released music through such labels as Freerange, Future Classics, Dirt Crew (through which they released debut album Boxed Out ), Tsuba, Classic Music Company, and Kaoz Theory.
They have also remixed for Hercules and Love Affair; Chet Faker; Seven Davis Jr; and Romanthony’s ‘Too Long’, produced by Daft Punk, as well as running their own label, Heist Recordings, which has released EP’s by Max Graef, Brame & Hamo, M.ono, and Andy Hart.
