37th panto to run in December and January

REHEARSALS ARE in full swing for Renmore's 37th pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, scripted by veteran panto dame Peter Kennedy, and directed by AIMS award-winning brothers Brian and Seán Power.

Queenie Bean's Sunshine Variety Theatre is threatened with closure, as the wicked landlady, Lady Feeona, tells Queenie there will be no pantomime this year! Queenie and her son Jack must find a way to save the theatre, meeting mischief and magic along the way.

Jack and the Beanstalk runs at the Town Hall Theatre from December 29 to January 10. Matinees area at 2.30pm from December 29, to 31, and January 1, 2, 9. Matinees are at 12 noon and 4.30pm on Sundays January 3 and 10. Nightly shows are 7.30pm on December 29 and 30, and January 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. There will also be a sensory friendly performance adapted to the needs of children and adults on the autism spectrum disorder, on Sunday January 3 at 12 noon.
