MORE THAN 180 voices, the combined talents of The Galway Baroque Singers, Our Lady’s Choral Society, internationally-renowned soloists, and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, will sing works by Puccini and Mozart tomorrow.
The concert, which takes place in Leisureland, Salthill, at 8pm, will see performances of Puccini’s Messa di Gloria and Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor. The collective ensemble will perform under the baton of the esteemed musical director of Our Lady’s Choral Society and RTÉ Concert Orchestra conductor laureate, Proinnsías Ó Duinn.
The concert marks the 70th anniversary of Our Lady’s Choral Society, and builds on the success of last year’s rendition of Mendelsohn’s Elijah in the National Concert Hall, by Our Lady’s Choral Society, Wesley College, and the Galway Baroque Singers.
