Queer feminist migrant synth wave

Danish band Prison to play Galway

THEY CALL themselves Prison. They describe themselves as "queer feminist migrant synth wave". They come from Denmark, and they play Galway this weekend.

Prison play the next FEAST night in the upstairs bar of the Róisín Dubh this Saturday from 9pm. The band formed in 2014 and take inspiration from Killing Joke, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Bauhaus, 1980s synthwave, and nowave, to propel their impassioned and politically charged brand of dreamy postpunk.

Support is from Overbite and Doppleskangers. Admission is €5.
