The Galway Cathedral Bethany Bereavement Support Group is hosting a series of Monday evening events in remembrance of the deceased and to help people cope with bereavement.
The first event takes place Monday November 9 in the Westwood Hotel at 8pm where Brid Carroll - bereavement counsellor from Wexford - will give a talk on bereavement and coping with grief.
This is free and all are invited to attend.
On Monday November 16 and Monday November 23 there will be two nights of music, prayer and reflection to remember loved ones at 8pm in the Cathedral.
The series will conclude on Monday November 30 with Mass in the Cathedral at 8pm in remembrance of the dead. The Cathedral Bethany Support Group is a parish based ministry which aims to help the bereaved.
