Corofin will be too good for Mohill

Galway county champions Corofin are expected to be far too strong for Leitrim champions Mohill in the Connacht championship quarter-final in Tuam Stadium on Sunday (2pm ).

Stephen Rochford’s team are 1/80 favourites to win the game, while the Leitrim men are 12/1.

Corofin last won back-to-back provincial titles in 2008 and 2009, and  their objective is to do so again.

The most probable challengers to prevent them will probably come from Mayo, where Breaffy and Castlebar Mitchels are in action this Sunday at McHale Park in their county final.

The Castlebar men are strong favourites to win, but Aidan O’ Shea and Seamus O’Shea will have a big say in who collects the Mayo county cup.
