Róisin O to play the Róisín Dubh

RÓISÍN O comes from thoroughbred pedigree in terms of Irish music. Her mother is none other than Mary Black, while her brother, Danny is lead singer in The Coronas, but as a solo singer-songwriter she is her own woman.

Róisín O plays the Róisín Dubh tomorrow at 9pm. To date she has has released the album The Secret Life Of Blu, via 3ú Records, and more recently the single ‘If You Got Love’. Much critical acclaim has come Róisin's way, with The Sunday Times describing her music as "evoking the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush", while of her live shows, Hotpress said: "She’s an engaging frontwoman who looks as if she was born to perform”, and the Boston Reporter opined, "her presence seemed to spellbound those in the room".

She has toured internationally, taking in Ireland, Germany, the US, Britain, France, Japan, and Dubai.
