Jamie Harrison releases debut single

Oranmore singer-songwriter emerges with 'If I Only Knew Your Name’

JAMIE HARRISON, the Oranmore soul, pop, and folk singer-songwriter, releases his debut single, 'If I Only Knew Your Name’, tomorrow, while the video for the song, directed by Nicholas Lam, is viewable on YouTube.

'If I Only Knew Your Name’ was produced by three time Grammy Award winner Ken Nelson, who has worked with Coldplay and Paolo Nutini. After the song went up online, it was heard by Los Angeles based director Nicholas Lam, who has worked with Kylie Minogue, Anthrax, Jason Derulo, and Nicole Scherzinger.

After hearing the song hecontacted Jamie directly, inviting him to Hollywood to shoot and a music video, putting together a film crew of friends and colleagues, including actress Megan Drust. The video delves into the mind of a young man as he imagines a day long adventure with a girl he does not know. After dreaming about cruising in an open top vintage car, through the sun soaked LA, his fantasy comes to an abrupt end as he watches his dream girl drive away, never to be seen again.

Jamie will perform and sign CD copies of the single, tomorrow at 5pm, in OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street. The single is also available on iTunes. See www.jamieharrisonmusic.com
