THE STRUGGLES of a Russian Jewish family, and one of the most famous songs in musical history, 'If I Were A Rich Man', come together in Fiddler On The Roof, which will be performed by Calasanctius College Oranmore this month.
The performance takes place in the school's Nano Nagle Hall from Tuesday October 20 to Friday 23 at 7.30pm. Niall Caufield appears as Tevye and Rachel Burke as his long suffering wife Golde. Laura Shivnan, Kate Gilmore, Ellen McCarthy, Saoirse McDermott, and Niamh Abbott play the couple's five daughters.
Fifty students will be on stage for the upcoming production. Tickets are €12/6 and are available from the school through 091 - 794564 and at the door.
