Rock Project founder to visit Galway for opening this Saturday

Galway’s newest and most exciting music school for 7 - 18 year olds, The Rock Project is opening in Knocknacarra Community Centre, Cappagh Road, Galway this Saturday October 17 2015 at 12.30 pm and some places are still available.

The founder of the Rock Project, Stuart Wynne of Denbigh, Wales will be on hand to celebrate the opening.  The ethos of The Rock Project is to get young people enjoying and learning guitar, bass, drums and vocals together instead of just learning an instrument and playing it on their own.

After 10 very successful years and over 2,500 students in the UK, local man Gary Browne is delighted to be opening the door to the Rock Project in Galway.

“The opportunity to perform on stage at the year-end concert instils enormous confidence in children and young people. Time and time again the Rock Project has seen students coming in having just picked up their instrument, only to be rocking out at the year end. And it’s great fun,” he concluded.

All abilities are catered for and instruments are provided at no extra cost.   Call Gary on 086 8075949 or e mail [email protected] to book a place
