MY FELLOW Sponges, the Galway prog-folk/indie band will play two nights at An Taibhdhearc Theatre this month - Wednesday October 21 and Thursday 22 - and featuring appearances from Yer Man's Puppets's Tommy Baker and The Gombeens's J-Dog, and others.
The show, entitled My Fellow Sponges Do Something, will feature the band's signature mix of jaunty-folk, hip-swinging latin grooves, and eerie minimalism, with splashes of theatre and drama. The band have released the acclaimed album Bonne Nuit, and the EP, Something Like Light. The band's latest release is the single 'Air', which features piano, synth, saxophone, cello, with elements of synth heavy trip-hop.
