Corinthians are back in action at Cloonacauneen on Saturday when they host Thomond at 2.30pm.
The Galway city side will be looking to record their first win in the Ulster Bank League division 2A having suffered a third defeat last weekend to Malone in Gibson Park.
Corinthians, however, will take some consolation to have come away from the 20-14 contest with a bonus point, but will be disappointed to have let slip a strong first half.
Outhalf James Proctor converted three fine penalties to edge the opening 40 minutes by 9-3.
Matthew O'Connor slotted a second just after the interval, but the crucial score came when Corinthians' Sean Connolly was red carded, with the home side awarded a penalty try.
It gave the home side all the momentum and minutes later Greg Crawford scooted over the whitewash for a second try.
However Corinthians kept their focus as they defended well with a man down, and they were eventually rewarded when breaking out of their half, winger Dave McDermott secured a try out wide.
