DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard’s September auction should not be missed

Tomorrow will see leading Galway auction house DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard hold its final auction of its autumn series in the Radisson Blu Hotel. Once again the Galway city based firm is expecting a large turnout with its auctions becoming must-see events for those interested in the west of Ireland's property trends.

As usual, the ever-professional auction team are bringing an exciting mix of properties to the auction floor, with something to suit all types of buyers, covering all sectors of the property market. Auctioneer James Heaslip, who will lead the auction team on the day, said: “We are very excited about tomorrow. We’ve got a really attractive mix of properties and have spent the past five weeks working very hard in order to have a successful afternoon. Our auctions are now renowned for being as much about the event and the entertainment, as they are for the results. While we run a highly professional service that is second to none, we go to great lengths to make sure those involved, be they buyers, sellers, or just interested onlookers, enjoy the occasion as much as possible.”

With 20 lots being brought to the floor, the list of properties varies from a doer-upper in the hugely desirable location of Glenard in Salthill, to walk-in investment properties on College Road and Woodquay, to commercial properties in Loughrea and the landmark pub May Kearney's in Ennis.  Mr Heaslip added: “We have had five busy weeks with our open viewings and have had record numbers turning up at all the properties. Our most recent auctions have been very successful with many noteworthy sales, but there’s always some value to be had for those shrewd enough to spot the bargains, and I’ll wager that this auction will be the same.”
