Part-time BTEI courses  at Headford Adult Learning Centre 

Headford Adult Learning Centre, Main Street, Headford, is now enrolling for courses to suit those who wish to return to education on a part-time basis. These courses are also ideal for people who have other commitments and wish to study part-time. 

Courses include child development Level 5 (morning ) and work experience Level 5 (morning ), which are part of the QQI Level 5 childcare award, for those who wish to work in the childcare sector.  

Child development and play Level 4 (morning ) is an ideal choice for those who are returning to education after a long break but would like to begin the journey towards a career in childcare. Options are then available to progress to Level 5. 

Irish Level 3 (evening ) aims to provide the learner with the knowledge, skills, and competence to communicate at an introductory level in Irish socially. 

Computer literacy Level 3 (morning ) is aimed at those who wish to develop their skills in using the computer for everyday tasks such as Email, shopping on line, banking online, and managing photos and documents. 

These courses are funded by the Back to Education Initiative (BTEI ). There are no course fees for participants in receipt of social welfare, medical card holders, or early school leavers. Fees apply to participants outside of these categories.
