Kick the wall after dark in Galway’s inaugural Night Run in aid of Croi

Galway Company Revive Active is calling on the people of the West to don the reflective gear and take to the Prom this October 16 for the first ever Galway Night Run on the Prom.

The 5km run or walk is being organised to raise money for Irish heart and stroke charity Croí, with all of the entry fee going directly to the charity.

The inaugural Galway Night Run on the Prom will take place on the Salthill Promenade.  This chipped flat course race will allow runners and walkers of all athletic ability to go out and enjoy this novel way to spend an October evening and ‘Kick the wall’ for Croi.

Participants will receive a Portwest reflective, breathable running jacket and a seven-day Revive Active Supplement pack. This Race Pack has a total value in excess of €70 and will be couriered to your home or place of work with your race number by the Revive Active team. “As a company we have always advocated exercise and nutrition as the mainstays of a healthy lifestyle. We are delighted to sponsor this novel event to help fund Croi to fight heart disease and stroke,” explained Dáithí O’ Connor, Managing Director Revive Active.

All runners and walkers will receive a Portwest reflective running jacket to keep them visible during their winter training and a seven day Revive Active health food supplement which will increase their energy and help with recovery after training. Our Revive Active pack gives a taster of the products Revive carry and will showcase how beneficial they are to improving overall health, when working with a training plan and balanced nutritional diet,” he said.

Croí is a registered Irish heart and stroke charity dedicated to the fight against heart disease and stroke, with a special focus on the West of Ireland. “Exercise and good nutrition are a fundamental part of fighting heart disease and stroke and we are thrilled to be a part of Galway’s first Night Run on the Prom,” said Chris Massi, Croí’s Director of Development.
