The team at Momento Hairdressing on High Street will celebrate their tenth birthday with a major celebration in the salon on August 29.
Momento Hairdressing is supporting Cancer Care West during its celebrations by giving donations on the day, and a percentage of sales to the charity.
Owner of Momento, Barry Healy, says Cancer Care West is a worthwhile charity.
"The team is delighted to support such a worthy cause. I am inviting all our customers and friends along to Momento on Saturday August 29 for some refreshments and nibbles to help us celebrate our big birthday."
Mr Healy is the third generation in his family involved in the hairdressing business with his grandfather setting up his own barbershop in the 1930s followed by his father Reggie. Barry began working weekends and summer holidays in the family business from the age of 12, and he opened Momento Hairdressing in 2005.
As part of the salon’s birthday celebrations, Momento will be running 10 days of giveaways on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, in the salon and even people-spotting on the streets of Galway to select winners with amazing hair.
