A celebration of dog ownership will be held at Brigit's Garden in Rosscahill, Co Galway, on Sunday September 13 from 1pm to 4pm.
Organised by dog rescue and adoption charity, MADRA, the celebration will include entertainment for adults, children and their pets.
Eddie Lenihan will be telling doggy tales in the Round House, dog owners can participate in one of the novelty dog show categories on the Sun Dial, children can search for clues on the doggy discovery trail, and the entire family can have their photo taken with their dog.
MADRA will also be selling merchandise and crafts, and much more.
Admission is adult €8/ child €5/family €20 (2 adults and 2 children ). Dogs go free. Barbecue and dog show entry is not included.
