Gardai in Salthill have renewed their appeal for information following the discovery of a man's body in Rusheen Woods in September last year. A facial reconstruction image of the man has been created to assist the investigation
On September 27 2014, the body of an unidentified man was found in the woods. The man is described as being between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately six feet tall, with black hair. His death is not being treated as suspicious. He was of a strong build and was wearing a gold bracelet watch which was the make Caravelle by Bulova. He was also wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and white and blue ‘Athletech’ runners. He had a black belt with metal flower design studs across its length with a silver colour buckle.
To date despite an extensive Garda Investigation the man remains unidentified. Anyone who can assist in identifying this male is asked to contact Salthill Garda Station on 091-514720, The Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
