WINGIN' IT, the new, monthly night of comedy and theatre improv at The Loft in Seven, Bridge Street, returns on Tuesday August 11 at 8.30pm.
Wingin' It is hosted by Galway improv troupe The Sky Babies - Zita McGowan, Órla Mc Govern, Darragh O'Brien, singer-songwriter Niceol Blue, and former director of the Baboró International Children's Arts Festival, Lali Morris. Improv theatre/comedy is where performers create all the content on the spot and off the top of their head, often from audience suggestions. For Tuesday's show, the ensemble will be joined by Portland, Oregon, improviser Ali Crocker, from the Brody Theatre.
The Sky Babies have performed at Electric Picnic, Ranelagh Arts, the Town Hall Theatre, Galway Fringe Festival, and Improv Fest Ireland. Their long form show, Suitcase, opened the Galway Theatre Festival 2015.
