CCTV footage examined following death of Galway man in New Zealand

Police in New Zealand are treating the death of a Galway man who drowned in Wellington Harbour at the weekend as an accident.

Finbarr Clabby (39 ) was originally from Renmore but had been living in Wellington, NZ, for a number of years. He had attended a rugby match with friends on Saturday night and was last seen when he left for home at around 1am on Sunday. His body was found in the harbour later on Sunday morning.

Police have ruled out foul play in Mr Clabby's death and, according to New Zealand media, are examining CCTV footage in the area to establish how he came to be in the water.
