Connemara actor Dónall Ó Héalaí @ Galway Film Fleadh

THE GALWAY Film Fleadh opened with a movie featuring Indreabhán actor Dónall Ó Héalaí and before the festival closes on Sunday, two more films featuring the Connemara actor will be screened.

The Fleadh opened with new Irish film My Name Is Emily, but there will still be a chance to see Dónall in Pursuit (Friday July 10, 10pm ), a road movie thriller, inspired by Irish Folk legend, which also features Brendan Gleeson and Liam Cunningham; and Traders (Saturday 11, 8pm ), about a website where people are able to get in contact and fight to the death for their opponent’s money.

Dónall began his acting career at 19 after landing a role in TG4 series Afric. He went on to train with teachers from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, before graduating last year from The Bow Street Acting Academy. Dónall has also appeared in the acclaimed TG4 series Corp & Anam and short film Sínte which won Best Short Drama this year at the Celtic Media Awards.
