SINGER-SONGWRITER Emmet Scanlan and his band What The Good Thought make a welcome return home to Galway to play The Crane Bar, Sea Road, on Friday July 17 at 9pm, as part of their current Irish tour.
Emmet and the band, currently based in London, will be joined on this tour by cellist Nicola Geddes, who has also worked with Damien Rice. The band are currently finishing off their new EP, which Emmet says will be different to previous releases. "Things have gone in a different different direction for this EP," he says, "more attitude and balls! We must be getting cranky in our old age!"
