Hermitage Green to play Róisín Dubh

HERMITAGE GREEN, the Irish folk-rock band who have won over audiences across the globe for their incendiary live performances, return to Galway this Saturday to play the Róisín Dubh at 9pm.

The five-piece was formed from a jam session by a group of musicians, many of whom happen to be former professional rugby players. They released their debut EP, The Gathering in 2012 and saw it go to No 1 on iTunes. This was followed by tours of France, Britain, the Middle East, South Africa, the US, and a sold-out Australian tour. Their debut album, Live At Whelans was released in 2013 to further success.

In concert Hermitage Green deliver an exciting set through hard-hitting rhythms driven by a combination of bodhrán and djembe, rhythmic guitar lines with Dobro meolodies, and soaring four-part vocal harmonies.

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
