Americana band Midnight Union @ Monroe's

THE MIDNIGHT Union Band will bring their Americana/folk sound to Monroe's Backstage Bar on Friday June 19 at 10pm for a free show as part of their tour to promote their new album, Of Life And Lesser Evils.

The band - Shane Joyce (guitar/harmonica/vocals ), Peter Flynn (piano/organ/guitar/lapslide/mandolin ) Brian Mcgrath (bass ) Cian Doolan (guitar/mandolin ), John Wallace (drums/vocals ) - released the album earlier this year and saw it enjoy much critical acclaim. Remy's Music & Film Blog stated: "It will require something exceptional between now and the end of the year to surpass Of Life and Lesser Evils as the best Irish album I've reviewed."

The Midnight Union Bands' songs range from the most poetic and tender of ballads to full fledged bustling, high octane tunes bursting at the seams with energy, and rhythm. Their concerts are noted for being heartfelt and energetic.
