Clifden singer-songwriter's new album Redemption in Top 20

SEANIE VAUGHAN, the Connemara folk-rock/indie singer-songwriter has seen his second album Redemption reach No 11 in the Irish indie charts, and he will play songs from that record in Monroe's Live on Saturday June 20 at 9pm.

Redemption follows Seanie's debut Altered Vision which reached No 5 in 2011 and this time it finds the Clifden man exploring a darker, moodier, more indie rock influenced sound. It was recorded in Clew Bay Studios, Mayo, with producer Bart de Boer. Since its release, tracks from the album have enjoyed airplay on national and regional stations in Ireland, as well as on British and American stations. In July and August Seanie and his band undertake an extensive US tour, with shows in Cleveland, Chicago, New York, Boston, and Washington.
