Sean nós dancing classes for children are taking place in Conradh na Gaeilge, Dominick Street, and there are still places available.
Sean nós dancing is an old form of traditional Irish dancing which is not as rigid with regard to rules or style as competition Irish dancing and allows great freedom for personal expression.
The classes are organised by Conradh na Gaeilge and the Galway City Council and are taught by Conamara sean-nós dancer Pádraig Ó hOibicín.
