Become a Friend of the Galway International Arts Festival

The Galway International Arts Festival recently launched its new Friends of the Festival 2015 programme, which allows participants in the scheme access to tickets, priority booking, and exclusive event invitations.

The GIAF has made a number of changes to this year’s Friends programme tailoring it to suit both individuals and businesses. According to Festival chief executive, John Crumlish, Friends' support is "hugely important to what we want to do". He said that last year's festival saw 213 productions staged in 27 venues, with a total audience attendance of 180,000 and an economic impact of €20.8 million for the local economy.

"Our ambition for 2015 is to build on this success and further develop the festival as a flagship event in the West of Ireland," he said. "Festival 2015 will cost €2.8 million and our Friends will play an important role in helping us make it possible.”
