To celebrate 10 years in business this week, Hazel Curran and the staff of Amy's House Crèche would like to invite all their clients, past and present, and also any future clients who would like to meet the staff and visit the business, to a barbecue and children's disco tomorrow, Friday, from 6pm to 9pm.
Amy's House Crèche is a purpose-built childcare facility, providing a safe, welcoming, environment for babies, wobblers, toddlers, Montessori, and after school children. Since its foundation Amy's House has grown and is now providing extra services including a dedicated afterschool service called Amy's Den, and an innovative social club, Amy’s Bump Club, where expectant mothers can meet and chat about all things bump.
The crèche provides a breakfast club in the mornings from 7.30am, with a school run at 9.10am. The ECCE which is provided is a very welcome scheme for both children and parents; it is available for 38 weeks of the year.
The food provided is purchased fresh every week using local produce where possible, it is then prepared with care in house every day.
Amy's Fun Club, a summer camp for children attending national school, is a welcome new addition this year. Activities will include baking, arts and crafts, and sports. Amy's Fun Club will be held from 10am to 2pm daily, Monday to Friday, during the school holidays. In order to facilitate working parents the club can also provide care before and after these times at a suitable rate.
The crèche has a beautiful baby room which is in the capable hands of Aisling. With her years of experience, the daily needs of your little one will be met. With a ratio in this room of 3:1, Aisling can comfortably give full attention to your baby. As the ratio is small for this room it is advised to seek a space at an early stage.
There have been lots of positive changes in childcare in recent years, such as the introduction of the ECCE scheme and CETS, the introduction of highly skilled staff into the industry, and at Amy's House the team seek to deliver maximum satisfaction to children and parents.
Amy's House is a team effort, and with a strong team of 10 staff the needs of the children are met daily by Hazel's child-friendly staff, under the guidance of manager Olivia.
The team at Amys House understand the pressure parents are under when dropping their little ones to crèche, and as a little thank you a complimentary tea and coffee takeaway service is available in the mornings to help parents get through the traffic.
