TERRY MCMAHON, the director of the acclaimed Irish film Patrick's Day, is coming to Galway to attend a screening of the movie and take part in a Q&A with the public.
Patrick's Day, which has been praised by Donald Clarke in The Irish Times and Gay Byrne on Lyric FM, and which has been nominated for 10 IFTAs, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Script, will be screened by The Little Cinema tomorrow at 7.30pm in Nuns Island Theatre.
Terry is a vocal spokesperson for the importance of independent film and during his Q&A he will discuss the making of Patrick's Day and filmmaking in Ireland in general.
