Torche to play FEAST

Florida band mix heavy riffs and sweet melodies

FLORIDA SLUDGE-pop titans Torche, will bring their heavy riffs and sweet melodies to FEAST at the upstairs bar of the Róisín Dubh this Sunday [May 24] from 9pm.

Torche are touring to promote their latest album Annihilation Affair, which was released earlier this year. The album has met with positive reviews from music critics and bloggers, Noisey declaring that it finds the Miami quartet laying down "some of their heaviest grooves...crushing doom riffs juxtaposed against sugary sweet pop melodies is intact and as effective as ever".

Support is from the great Galway garage-rock/indie-pop band Dott, as well as Dublin's Bitch Falcon. Admission is €12/10. See also www.roisindubh.net
