Core Theatre College to stage More Light

CONDEMNED TO die with their emperor in his tomb, the concubines who have not produced any male children ponder their fate. This is the setting for Bryony Lavery’s play More Light.

More Light which will be performed by students of Core Theatre College Galway in the Nuns Island Theatre at 8pm from Thursday May 14 to Saturday 16. The production is directed by Max Hafler. Once pampered and privileged, but now left in the darkness, the women make a bold and desperate decision in this play which explores issues of patriarchy, survival, and even art.

Tickets are €10/€8 and can be bought through www.galwayartscentre.ie and at the door on the night.
