DJS, MUSICIANS, and music journalists will spin favourite 7” vinyl records in the Róisín Dubh next week in support of gay marriage and in aid of the YesEquality campaign.
Vinyl Love In Aid of Marriage Equality takes place on Thursday May 7 from 9pm, with DJ sets taking place in Róisín’s live venue and upstairs bar.
Confirmed for the night are the Róisín Dubh’s Gugai; The Hive’s Cyril Briscoe; The Disconauts; Ray and Aran from SHAKE!; DJ Graham Dolan; music journalist Nialler9; ALICE DJ Byron Yeats; Kernan Andrews and Dave Barry (Shuffle! ) of the Galway Advertiser; Bap To The Future’s Laura Lolz; musicians Fuz Reilly and Daithí; The Commander; DJ Byrno; Southern Hospitality’s Aisling O’Riordan; as well as Stevie G, Mick Data, Maxi Browne, Kate Brennan Harding, and others.
Admission is free but a suggested donation of €10 on the door for the Yes Equality campaign is welcome. The referendum on same-sex marriage takes place on May 22.
