The Tale Of Ancient Lights

THE TALE Of The Ancient Lights, an award-winning one-man show fusing circus, dance, magic, echnology, and Asian art, is coming to the Galway Theatre Festival.

The show, which is suitable for all ages, sees Riuchi undertake a quest to master the magic of light in The Bank of Ireland Theatre, NUI Galway, this Saturday and Sunday at 7pm, with a matinee on Sunday at 3pm. The show is performed by Guillaume Cousson, a multi-disciplinary performer in circus, dance, and juggling. French-born, he is of Asian heritage.

...Ancient Lights won Best Performance and Best Lighting at Galway Fringe Festival 2014, was nominated for Bewley’s Café Theatre Little Gem Award at Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival, and has featured on RTÉ. The Irish Times has described it as “an intriguing synthesis of technology” by a “skilled and imaginative performer”.
