Galway weightlifter Kieran Joyce hopes to celebrate a special one year anniversary with a Connacht title on May 2. The NUIG first year medical student took up weightlifting just a year ago and has already qualified for the European Junior Weightlifting Championships. Although the Connacht competition is next on his list, the former Bish student also has his sights set on qualifying for the World Junior Champions this year.Joyce is the current Irish 85kg junior champion and intervarsity champion,
