GALWAY YOUTH Orchestra will give the last concert of its current season in Seapoint Leisure Centre, Salthill, this Sunday [April 26] at 3pm, with some 170 musicians taking part.
Galway Youth Senior Orchestra will be conducted by Michael John Ryan from the Tipperary Youth Orchestra. Joanne Cater, Peter Berrill and John Fleming will conduct the GYO Intermediate, Junior, and Jazz orchestras.
The special guests will be the Sligo Music Academy Orchestra, under director Niamh Crowley. The orchestra was founded in 2000 by Niamh who is a well known musician who has performed with numerous orchestras, and is also a member of Camerata Ireland.
