LE GALAXIE, the Dublin quartet, who have thrilled Galway dancefloors with their mix of exhilarating disco, funk, and indie-electro, launch their new album in the Róisín Dubh.
The launch takes place on Friday May 1 at 9pm. The 14-track Le Club features ‘Put the Chain On’, ‘Humanise’, and ‘Carmen’ and is released through Universal Music Ireland. Its release comes when Le Galaxie’s standing has never been higher.
The band - LeAlastairGalaxie, LeAnthonyGalaxie, LeDavidGalaxie and LeMichaelGalaxie - have played and headlined major venues and festivals across Ireland and Europe, in the process earning a nomination for the 2013 Meteor Choice Music Prize, and praise from The Irish Times, which said: “Over the past two years, [they] have transformed themselves into a juggernaut of a party band, jack knifing into crowds who are only too happy to take the hit.”
