“STEPHEN YOUNG & The Union are the cream of the crop in Ireland when it comes to Americana/Folk-rock.” So said Radio Nova about the band that plays Galway next week.
The quintet will be in Monroe’s Backstage Bar on Friday May 1 at 10pm to perform songs from their albums Wilderness Machine (2011 ) and Eagle Fort Rumble (2014 ), the latter revealing a softer, folkier side to their sound. The band have performed at festivals such as the Knockanstockan Festival and the Jack of Diamonds Festival in Dublin where they were applauded as ‘band of the night’.
