Special occasion department opens at Gorta-Self Help Africa shop

Gorta-Self Help Africa has just launched a new special occasion department at its retail outlet on William Street West in the city.

Whether you are looking for an as-new debs dress, smart and stylish evening wear, or clothing for confirmations, brides, bridesmaids, and flower girls, the shop has supplemented its stock with some great options, all at fantastic prices.

“Lots of different sizes are being catered for and the clothing that we’ve received is in excellent condition and as good as new,” said shop manager Paula Browne.

Gorta-Self Help Africa, Ireland’s longest established not-for-profit development agency, marks its 50th anniversary this year. The organisation, which was created following the merger last year of Gorta and Self Help Africa, supports rural poor communities to farm their way out of hunger and poverty.

Opening hours at the Galway business are Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 6pm.
