KODALINE HAVE added a second show at the Galway International Arts Festival Big Top, and will now play on Friday July 17 alongside the already sold-out Saturday 18 show.
The first concert sold out in less than three hours, becoming in the process the fastest selling show in the festival’s history. Due to public demand the Friday 17 date was added. Tickets go on sale on Friday [April 24] at 9am, and there is expected to be huge demand for tickets for this date.
Kodaline - Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vinny May and Jason Boland - have enjoyed enormous success since 2012 when their debut album In A Perfect World went Top 3 in Britain, spent nine weeks at No 1 in Ireland, and brought them to attention in Europe and the US. The album eventually went multi-platinum. Earlier this year, the Dublin band released their second album Coming Up For Air, which again went to No 1 in Ireland, and rose to No 4 in Britain. Their recently announced UK and Irish tour dates are all sold out.
