TO MARK the 125th anniversary of Vincent Van Gogh’s death, Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum is hosting a major re-showing of the gallery’s collection of works by the much loved artist.
Galway audiences will be able to explore the exhibition when the film of the exhibition, Vincent Van Gogh, is screened in The Eye on Tuesday April 14 at 6.30pm. Made in collaboration with the experts at the Van Gogh Museum, the film will depict Van Gogh’s masterpieces on the big screen, in high definition, while specially invited guests, including world-renowned curators and art historians, offer their interpretations and explanations of his work.
