COBAIN: MONTAGE Of Heck, the new film on Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, will be screened in the IMC Cinema, Headford Road on Friday April 10 at 8.30pm.
This authorised documentary, written and directed by Brett Morgen, was made with the participation of the Cobain family, and the songwriter’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain served as executive producer.
Named after a mixtape Cobain made in the 1980s, the film charts his early days in Aberdeen, Washington, to his success with Nirvana, and his tragic death. It features Nirvana songs and performances, as well as previously unheard Cobain originals. The film-makers also had access to Cobain’s archives, home movies, recordings, artwork, photography, journals, demos, and songbooks.
Tickets available through www.imccinemas.ie or call to the box office at the cinema.
