It Is coming up to that time of year again, the biggest fish eating day in Ireland, Good Friday. In order to give you some ideas to perhaps try cooking something different Mary's Fish Shop is having one of her "Fish Demo Cooking Days” on Tuesday March 31.
There will be several of Galway's best chefs cooking up a storm and every thing that is cooked will be eaten by the audience. Proceedings will get underway at about midday with the Galway Bay FM Bay Caster broadcasting live.
Why not enter in Marys "Fish Foto” competition? When you are next in the shop Mary will have your photograph taken along with the fish you purchased on the day. Then it is over to you to take a picture of the finished dish when you cook it at home, the next step is to put the picture up on Marys Facebook page and the winner will be announced during the fish cookery demo.
If you are unable to upload the picture on Facebook you can either email the photo to [email protected] or bring your camera or memory card into the shop and it will be uploaded there. The prize is a dinner for two at a top Galway restaurant.
