Galway Ladies’ national league ambitions face a stern test on Sunday when they travel to Monaghan to face the league leaders.
Currently two points ahead of Galway, Monaghan are making a bold bid for honours this season, having lost just once to date to Dublin in the opening round.
However Galway Ladies are also enjoying a rich vein of form, after their 3-12 to 2-9 victory over Kerry they will travel to Monaghan with confidence. It should be a close encounter.
Glenamaddy were crowned the Tesco All Ireland PPS Senior A Champions in a tight game with Coláiste Dún Iascaigh. The Galway side held on to win by a single point, 4-5 to 3-7.
