Project Maths academy at Yeats College

Yeats College’s highly qualified, professional, and passionate teaching staff deliver successful strategies for maximum achievement at Leaving Certificate level. The introduction of Project Maths is a welcome addition to a contemporary maths syllabus.

The teachers have specifically designed this course to cater for all the relevant areas of the Leaving Certificate Project Maths curriculum. This course is specifically designed to enhance the students’ knowledge of Project Maths. The course caters for students of all levels of mathematical ability. Yeats College offers the option of both higher and ordinary level maths.

The most exciting aspect of the study of maths is that it challenges the student’s knowledge of individual topics. The Project Maths element of the course challenges the student’s ability to think laterally to solve a problem. The student will require consistent practice in a given topic to perfect the techniques and skills required to ensure maximum exam success.

Yeats College’s team of expert mathematical instructors will support, nurture, and guide students of all abilities. This course will empower students and enable them to take control of their studies in a meaningful way. The course is focused on improving overall mathematical ability, fostering a love of the subject, and highlighting the benefits of mathematics in the real world.

The Project Maths academy is a two-week course, taking place from Monday June 22 to Friday July 3. The course will cover the key topics in the Leaving Certificate curriculum.
