CLASSICAL, FOLK, and sacred music from across Europe will be performed by Cork choir CanTúr tomorrow at 8pm in the Augustinian Church.
CanTúr, a six male-voice ensemble will present a one-hour set featuring works by Schubert and Mendelssohn, Ukranian folk, and Chinese song, sung in English, German, Old Church Slavonic, Ukranian, and Mandarin.
The concert is in aid of Suas Educational Development. Suas focuses on promoting quality education for children from disadvantaged communities through programmes in Ireland, India, and Kenya.
The concert is being hosted by Galway TCD undergraduate Emma Beuster who has been chosen to participate in a 10 week volunteer teaching programme in New Delhi. Tickets are available on the door.
